DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Pavertime Hardscapes | Houston, Tx.

THE WORK

I lead the creative direction and marketing strategy for a multi-generational hardscape company, overseeing nearly every aspect of the brand's public presence. My work spans brand identity, website strategy, SEO, paid advertising, photography, videography, copywriting, content production, and creative direction—translating technical construction services into stories people can immediately picture themselves living in.

From rebuilding the company's visual identity to developing long-term marketing systems, I help shape how clients experience Pavertime before the first conversation ever happens. Every campaign, photograph, and piece of copy is designed to build trust, communicate craftsmanship, and make exceptional work feel as personal as it is practical.

THE LESSON

Good marketing doesn't convince people something is valuable.

It helps them recognize the value that was already there.

2022–2026

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

New Orleans & Company | New Orleans, La.

THE WORK

I joined New Orleans & Company (@VisitNewOrleans) as a content creator before growing into leading social media strategy for the official destination marketing organization of one of the world's most culturally recognizable cities. My role blended creative direction, editorial strategy, photography, video production, copywriting, influencer marketing, paid partnerships, and community storytelling across every major social platform.

I led international, national, and local influencer campaigns from concept to publication while producing in-house content surrounding festivals, music, restaurants, arts and culture, museums, hospitality, sports, nightlife, and citywide events. Working alongside hundreds of local businesses, chefs, musicians, artists, hotels, and cultural organizations, I helped shape how millions of people experienced New Orleans before they ever arrived.

During my tenure, annual engagement exceeded four million interactions while helping shift the organization's storytelling toward a broader, more authentic representation of the city. Every campaign worked toward the same belief: that New Orleans' greatest attraction has always been its people.

THE LESSON

Culture isn't something you manufacture.

It's something you earn the right to represent.

2020–2022

MANAGER OF VISITOR EXPERIENCE

New Orleans Museum of Art | New Orleans, La.

THE WORK

I led the Visitor Experience Department for one of the Gulf South's premier art museums, overseeing front-of-house operations, ticketing strategy, staff leadership, docent and volunteer programs, exhibition logistics, and daily museum operations. Working alongside curators, educators, executive leadership, and guest services teams, I helped shape how thousands of visitors experienced the museum each day.

My role balanced operational strategy with human connection—designing systems that allowed people to move seamlessly through exhibitions while ensuring every interaction reflected the museum's mission. Whether planning for major international exhibitions, developing staff training, or refining visitor services, the work centered on creating meaningful experiences through thoughtful execution rather than spectacle.

THE LESSON

Presentation changes perception.

The object rarely changes.

The story surrounding it does.

2018–2020

GALLERY DIRECTOR

Funeral Gallery | New Orleans, La

THE WORK

I managed daily operations for one of New Orleans' leading contemporary art galleries, representing a roster of regional, national, and international artists. My responsibilities included exhibition planning, artwork sales, collector relationships, inventory management, shipping logistics, installation coordination, artist communications, and gallery marketing.

Working closely with artists, collectors, and visitors taught me that successful galleries do more than exhibit artwork—they translate ideas. Every exhibition required balancing creative vision with business strategy while helping audiences connect with work they may not have understood at first glance.

THE LESSON

Artists and audiences often speak different languages.

Great galleries become translators.

2017–2018

TEACHING ASSISTANT

Cranbrook Academy of Art | Bloomfield Hills, Mi.

THE WORK

While earning my Master of Fine Arts, I assisted faculty and graduate students in the Print Media department, supporting studio operations, equipment maintenance, demonstrations, edition printing, critiques, and exhibition preparation. The role placed me inside one of the country's most respected graduate art programs, where experimentation, craft, and rigorous feedback shaped every project.

Working alongside practicing artists reinforced that great creative work rarely arrives through inspiration alone. It comes from curiosity, repetition, revision, and the discipline to keep making better work every day.

THE LESSON

Mastery isn't glamorous.

It's repetition.

It's showing up.

2016–2017

GRADUATE PHOTO & VIDEO STUDIO COORDINATOR

Cranbrook Academy of Art | Bloomfield Hills, MI.

THE WORK

While completing my Master of Fine Arts, I coordinated the daily operations of Cranbrook Academy of Art's graduate Photo & Video studios, maintaining professional equipment, managing studio schedules, checking equipment and materials in and out, overseeing studio upkeep, and supporting graduate students throughout their creative practice. The role required balancing technical expertise with organization, ensuring the studios remained a reliable space for experimentation, collaboration, and production.

THE LESSON

The best creative environments don't happen by accident.

They're built with care long before the work begins.

2011–2015

PHOTO STUDIO MANAGER

Sam Houston State University | Huntsville, tx.

THE WORK

I managed the university photography studios while completing my Bachelor of Fine Arts, maintaining professional lighting equipment, organizing studio schedules, assisting students and faculty during shoots, and ensuring the spaces remained ready for both instruction and production. The position combined technical problem-solving with creative collaboration in an environment built around experimentation.

It was the first time I realized that creativity isn't only about making images—it's about building the conditions that allow other people to make their best work, too.

THE LESSON

Good creative work starts long before anyone presses the shutter.
